The 2nd International Sustainability Congress was held in Polonezköy, Istanbul between 27-28 October 2017.

The congress was attended by young researchers from academicians and sustainable practitioners of the business world, Congress opened with Dr. Refika Bakoğlu's "Community Art: Finding own Rhythm in Sustainability" named expressive art workshop. Then Kedge Business School from France Prof. Dr. Yahia Zoubir presented “CSR and Sustainable Development: Do Governments Listen?”

Throughout the day, current research topics in the fields of economics, art, medicine, law, statistics, business, engineering have been discussed in visual presentations and presentations. At the end of the day, activities were undertaken to internalize sustainability in the unique nature of Polonzköy, the "Discovery of nature" workshop.

On the second day of Congress, Marmara University Faculty of Engineering Faculty member Prof.Dr. Tanay Sıdkı Uyar has made an opening speech with "Energy Transition, Climate Change Mitigation, and Sustainability". After a short visit, the invited speaker Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özbilgin has made a speech titled "Does atypical leadership promote diversity?"

In the afternoon of the second day, a sustainable creative workshop was held with all student clubs seeking to share new and creative ideas about sustainability. This workshop, in which interdisciplinary project ideas can be identified, is moderated by expert faculty members of the field. With the participation of students and academicians, the Congress was completed by Aylin Vartanyan Dilaver, a lecturer at Boğaziçi University, with a workshop entitled "Conflict Transformation through Expressive Arts".

In the Congress, all researchers from academicians to practitioners exchanged information on participating in discussions by presenting their work on various dimensions of sustainability. In addition, the Congress has realized a province in the field of new applications with the workshops of artistic arts.

International Sustainability Center The "Creative Sustainability Projects Workshop" with the student clubs of universities was held on October 28, 2017, under the moderation of expert academicians in the field.
